Our techs go the extra mile, taking all efficient steps and extras care to use what's in the piano to help it play better. We like to keep as many original parts as possible in the piano, replacing only when absolutely necessary. Reliable moving services at a competitive market rate within Central Austin.

Featuring a wide open sound stage, backline including an in-house 1946 Knabe grand piano, bass amp, guitar amps, drum kit, etc... With a wide open stage, streaming with high quality mirrorless-SLR’s, live 16-channel mixed sound w/ DAW 24bit/48K recording, and a lil’ extra bass mixed for live shows for all the folks enjoying concerts on their tiny devices.

Willy McGee is a songwriter and filmmaker that was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He grew up playing piano and guitar, listening to hand-me-down records of Willis Alan Ramsey, Leon Russell, and The Doobie Brothers. The thirty-one-year-old singer/songwriter has a voice reminiscent of some of country’s greatest, with its baritone register and raspy tone. His production blends country guitar sounds and blues licks with tinges of acid jazz and funkadelic rhythms to create music that truly stands in its own rite. In addition to recording an album with producer Andrija Tokic in Nashville, Mcgee has performed with many notable musicians such as Old 97’s, Rooney Pitchford, Daniel Romano, and Margo Price.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Danny Malone is a singer & songwriter celebrated for his ultra-inward songwriting and lyrically captivating universe. Since his 2007 EP debut Baby Bleu, Danny has mostly performed and recorded solo enlisting help from friends as needed for live performances and studio recordings. For a short time in 2015-2016, Danny Malone existed as a trio that toured the US with Blue October. His most recent album, We the Tigress, They the Wildebeast, was recorded during this time, then re-recorded. When the band dissolved in 2017 the album was re-worked a third time and finally released in February 2020. Its debut is the catalyst to push Danny forward with plans to record another album of new work produced by Transient Mic, an Austin non-profit mobile studio dedicated to the preservation of sound recordings.

Austin keyboardist Connor Forsyth premieres a jazz trio featuring Joseph Nigel Frye on upright bass and Nick Hughes on drums. Known locally for his bands Belleville Outfit and Ghosts Along the Brazos, as well as sideman roles for Asleep at the Wheel and Ray Price among others, the trio looks to give an outlet to the more traditional swing and jazz repertoire he and Frye grew up listening to and playing together.

Austin, Texas based pianist James Speer combines the soul and character of R&B legends like Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder with the charisma and swing of modern troubadours like Michael Bublé and John Legend, performing a wide range of classic jazz standards, soul-infused rhythm & blues, and jazz-inspired reinventions of modern pop. Accompanied by drummer Robin Mordecai, Speer rolls out his numbers while singing and playing grand piano, bass keyboard, and organ keyboard.

James has performed and recorded with some of Austin’s best-known acts, including Bob Schneider, Monte Montgomery, Vallejo, George Devore, The Scabs, MC Overlord, Malford Milligan, Ady Hernandez and Tyrone Vaughn.

Join us for an intimate performance by the incredibly talented Devin Gutierrez via livestream from the East Austin Piano Shop soundstage. This will be a special treat to hear him play on a vintage grand piano bringing his originals and soulful covers to life.

Devin Gutierrez is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and teacher based in Austin, Texas. He is on the Autism Spectrum and was born with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia which left him blind. Music has always been his passion and lifeline, and cites Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Donny Hathaway, and Ray Charles among some of his influences. Devin teamed up with the Music Moves Mountains Foundation to join in their mission of making music more accessible to those in need. The Foundation aims to help Devin and others get the musical support they need to be happy, healthy, hopeful and thrive in society.

Robert Ellis is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Houston, TX. His most recent album, Texas Piano Man, was met with critical acclaim. Of the newest album, NPR says “Dressed head to toe in a white tuxedo, Robert Ellis has now fully embraced his role as Texas troubadour, putting a little Gram Parsons-style honky-tonk into the bedazzled piano-pop of Elton John”.

Monks Jazz founder, Collin Shook returns with his trio, featuring Sam Pankey and Daniel Dufour, to present an evening of music with acclaimed vocalist and trombonist Aubrey Logan Aubrey Logan. In addition to sharing the stage with Dave Koz, Alabama Shakes, Meghan Trainor, Pharrell Williams, Josh Groban, and The Commodores, Logan’s 2019 album, Where the Sunshine Is Expensive, peaked at #1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Album Chart. Previously a resident of Los Angeles, Aubrey recently relocated to Austin, Texas.

Henri Herbert is a piano-playing phenomenon, and definitely one of the most sought after boogie-woogie blues piano men in the world. With over 50 million hits on Youtube, he tours all over the world and is fast gaining a reputation as one of the foremost performers, torch-bearers, and innovators of this style in his generation! He currently resides in Austin, Texas, where he holds a regular Tuesday residency at the legendary C-Boy’s Heart & Soul on South Congress.
